Admiral Charner Class French Armoured cruisers, launched 1892 - 1894.  Including Admiral Charner, Bruix, Chanzy and Latouche - Treville. 

Displacement: 4681 tons  Speed: 18.2 to 19 knots. Compliment: 393.  armament: Two 7.6 -inch Guns,  Six 5.5 inch Quick Firing M1887 guns, Four 9 pounder,  Four 3 pounder,  Six 1 pounder revolvers  and Four 18 -inch Torpedo Tubes 

Admiral Charner 18th March 1893 Convoy escort in 1914. Rescued Armenians from the Turks in September 1915 and occupied Castellorizo Island on 28th December. Sunk by torpedo from U21 on 8th February 1916 only one survivor.
Bruix 3rd August 1894 Served in Red Sea in 1915, took part in blockade of Greece before going into reserve in 1918. Broken up in 1920.
Chanzy 24th January 1894 After grounding herself and attempts to refloat her failed and she was wrecked on 30th May 1907. (China Station)
Latouche-Treville 8th October 1892 Took damage at Gallipoli. Taken off active in June 1920, hulked 1925 and broken up in 1926.

Admiral Charner

Built by Rochefort  and Laid down July 1889. launched  march 1893 and finally completed 1894.

Saw service during world war.  On  Convoy escort in 1914. Rescued Armenians from the Turks in September 1915 and occupied Castellorizo Island on 28th December. Sunk by torpedo from U21 on 8th February 1916 only one survivor.

Built by Soc de la Girondeand laid down 1890 launched January 1894 and completed  December 1894.  After grounding herself and attempts to refloat her failed and she was wrecked on 30th May 1907. (China Station)
