SMS Undine of the gazelle light cruiser class, Built at Howaldtswerke and laid down in 1901, launched 11th December 1902 and completed 5th January 1904. SMS Undine served with the fleet and as a gunnery training ship between 1900 and 1914, when war broke out Nymphe was used for coastal defence, On the 7th November 1915 SMS Undine was torpedoed and dunk by HM submarine E 19 in the Baltic Displacement: 3130 tons. Speed: 23 Knots. Compliment 259 - 303. Armament: Ten 105mm, ten machine Guns, Two submerged 450mm (18 inch) Torpedo Tubes. |
