Kaiser. , Launched 19th
March 1874 and commissioned into the German Fleet on the 13th February
1875. designated in 1897 as a heavy cruiser. served on colonial
duties until 1899, and becoming on the 3rd May 1904 a harbour
ship/ renamed Uranus on the 12th October 1905. Stricken 21st may
1921. becoming the accommodation ship for the crew of KMS
Wurttemburg at Flensburg, finally broken up in 1920 at
Hamburg

German Battleships at Kiel.
The two ships with the trunked funnels are Schlesien
and Schleswig Holstein. At least one of the others is a
Braunschweig class ship, although one may be SMS Hannover. -
