| The Caroline Class Light Cruisers were approved as part of the 1913 naval programme. the Cruisers HMS Caroline, HMS Carysfort, HMS Cleopatra, HMS Camus, HMS Conquest and HMS Cordelia, were all launched in 1914. and interesting addition to HMS Carysfort and HMS Cleopatra were fitted with runways on the forecastle, in 1915 to launch French Monoplanes against Zeppelins but the runways were removed during 1916. | |||||||||||||||||||
