1 A two-decked, ship-rigged, wooden hulled, armoured corvette of 3015 tons displacement; length 225 ft.; beam 46.75 ft.; draught 19 ft. forward, 22 ft. aft. Laid down 23.8.60 as a wooden corvette of the “Jason” Class but altered during building. Armament: 8 x 7” MLR and 2 x 64 pounders (6”) chase guns, all carried on the upper deck, the 7” broadside guns in an unusual box arrangement. Machinery: One set direct-acting Humphreys and Tennant 2 cyl. horizontal single expansion; the single screw could neither be hoisted nor disconnected. Speed: 11.8 kts., best sea speed 10.5 kts. Bunkers: 350 tons.

Sold for breaking up on 30th March 1886.
