| Sustained heavy damage while assisting SS Fort La Montee as it was towed away from Algiers harbour after a fire broke out on board. Arrow was alongside when the fire reached ammunition in the stricken ship, and was caught in the ensuing explosion. Parts were stripped from HMS Arrow in 1944 and she remained a hulk in Taranto until May 1949. |
