Hicks in Command 8th August 1890 - Commenced Manouvres in the Western Approaches and North Atlantic 18th August 1890 - Completed Manouvres in the Western Approaches and North Atlantic 20th August 1890 - Arrived Sheerness from Portland to be paid off into the Second Div. Medway Reserve 20th August 1890 - Capt. Charles P.G. Hicks in Command 21st August 1890 - Sailed Sheerness for Chatham to be paid out of commission 27th August 1890 - Mobilised at Sheerness 30th August 1890 - Capt. Charles P.G. Hicks 30th August 1890 - Paid off out of commission at Chatham 21st July 1892 - Assigned for maneouvres.
