HMS Cumberland Laid Down : April 1836 Launched : 21st October 1842 Completed : Type : 3rd Rate Class : Builder : Chatham Country : UK Pennants : Fate : Training Ship 1870. Destroyed by fire, 17th February 1889. |
| Sheerness Station 1860 under the command of Captain G. E. Patey. Reformatory training ship on the Clyde / Gareloch at Rhu / Helensburgh. Was home to 396 young men on the date it was burnt in an arson attack, and was subsequently sold for scrap. |
