[UP] - HMS Ardent - HMS Acasta

HMS Acasta  A class destroyer built at Clydebank and launched 8th August 1929. HMS  Acasta was sunk along with her sister ship HMS Ardent during the action against the German  battlecruisers Scharnhorst and Gneisenau. but HMS Acasta did manage to Torpedo the Scharnhorst before being sunk 

Displacement: 1,350 tons    Speed: 35 Knots, Compliment: 138.   Armament:  Four 4.7-inch guns  two 2 pounder AA Guns  and eight Torpedo Tubes

HMS Active   H.14 9th July 1929 Broken up 1947.
HMS Antelope    H.36 27th July 1929 Broken up 1946.
HMS Anthony   H.40 24th April 1929 Broken up 1948.
HMS Ardent  H.41 26th June 1929 Sunk 8th June 1940. during the action with Scharnhorst and Gneisenau
HMS Arrow  H.42 22nd August 1929 Damaged 4th August 1943 and never repaired. 
HMS Saguenay   D.79  (RCN) 11th July 1930 Damaged in collision and later used as a training ship in 1943.
HMS Skeena   D.59  (RCN) 10th October 1930 Wrecked on 25th October 1944.
