HMS Acasta A class destroyer built at Clydebank and launched 8th August 1929. HMS Acasta was sunk along with her sister ship HMS Ardent during the action against the German battlecruisers Scharnhorst and Gneisenau. but HMS Acasta did manage to Torpedo the Scharnhorst before being sunk Displacement: 1,350 tons Speed: 35 Knots, Compliment: 138. Armament: Four 4.7-inch guns two 2 pounder AA Guns and eight Torpedo Tubes |
