JEAN BART.  . went to St Petersburg  along with France on a official visit in July 1914. and jsut managed to leave the Baltic area at the outbreak of world war one. She was transferred along with her sister ships to the Mediterranean from august 1914. she was damaged when torpedoed by Austro Hungarian U-Boat U12. which hit the wine store but the magazine store  near by remained un touched.  after the war she was continued in service and in 1931 became a training ship was disarmed in 1938 and renamed Ocean (only as a hulk)  during her refit she has her forward funnels replaced with one single funnel and a tripod foremast.  in a second refit she has some new boilers fitted but reconstruction was halted.  On the 7th March 1944 she was damaged during an allied air raid and o the 15th March 1944 the Germans used her for Explosive trials and she was sunk.

JEAN A BARRE. . Est allé à St Setersburg avec France sur une visite officielle en juillet 1914. et jsut a géré pour partir le secteur Balte à l'éruption de guerre de monde l'un. Elle a été transférée avec ses bateaux de soeur à la méditerranée du 1914 août. elle a été endommagée quand torpedoed par Austro l'U-BATEAU hongrois U12. qui a frappé la cave à vin mais le magasin de revue près de par un resté a touché. Après la guerre qu'elle a été continuée en service et dans 1931 est devenue un bateau d'entraînement a été désarmé dans 1938 et Océan renommé (seulement comme une épave) pendant elle remet en état elle a ses entonnoirs effrontés remplacés avec un entonnoir seul et un mât de misaine de trépied. Dans une seconde remet en état elle a quelques nouvelles chaudières ajustées mais reconstruction a été arrêtée. Sur le septième le 1944 mars elle a été endommagée pendant une attaque AERIENNE et o allié le 15e le 1944 mars les Allemands l'a utilisée pour les procès Explosifs et elle a été coulée.
