KAISER built at Kiel Dock Yard and launched 22nd March 1911 and commissioned on the 1st August 1912. On trials attained a speed of 23.6 knots (was expected to achieve 21 to 22 knots). Fought at Jutland and sustained damage from shell fire. After the armistice The Kaiser was interned at Scapa Flow and was scuttled there by her crew on the 21st June 1919, eventually raised on 20th March 1929 and scrapped at Rosyth. |
