 USS Illinois was built by Newport News and launched 16th September 1898 and commissioned 16th September 1901. later was used as an armory ship and an accommodation ship form 1921 to 1955. She was renamed Prairie State in January 1941, to free the name for new

USS Alabama BB8 built by Cramp and launched 18th May 1898 and commissioned 16th October 1900. Finally sunk as target in 1921.

USS Wisconsin BB9  Built by Union iron Works and launched 4th February 1898 and commission 4th February 1901.  finally Scrapped in 1922

USS Illinois

 4th October 1898 Used as an armoury and an accommodation ship until sold for scrap in 1956. Renamed Prairie State in 1941.
USS Alabama 18th May 1898 Used as a target and sunk in 1921.
USS Wisconsin 26th November 1898 Sold for scrap in 1922.
