An Unknown British Cruiser.

I have some action photographs left to me by my late father. He was an ex Royal Marine. The photographs are of a Cruiser his brother, also a Royal Marine, served on during WWII.  Can you Identify this ship. I have several action photos including the Graf Spee on fire.  Regards Charles Mason.   Carl Proctor suggests the tall after mast and high trawler bows would suggest that the ship pictured is one of the D (Danae) class of british cruisers.
