Union 1st October 1940 Lost on 22nd July 1941.
Unique 6th June 1940 Lost on 24th October 1942.
Upholder 8th July 1940 Lost on 14th April 1942.
Upright 21st April 1940 Scrapped in March 1946 at Troon.
Urchin 30th September 1940 Served in Polish Navy as Sokol from January 1941 -1946. Eventually scrapped in 1949.
Urge 19th August 1940 Lost on 28th April 1942.
Usk 7th June 1940 Lost on 3rd May 1941.
Utmost 20th April 1940 Lost on 24th November 1942.
Uproar 27th November 1940 Scrapped in February 1946 at Inverkeithing.
Ultimatum 11th February 1941 Sold on 23rd December 1949 and subsequently scrapped at Port Glasgow.
Umbra 15th March 1941 Scrapped in July 1946 at Blyth.
Unbending 12th May 1941 Scrapped in May 1950 at Tyne.
Uredd 24th August 1941 Served with Norwegian Navy in 1941. Lost on 10th February 1943.
Unbroken 4th November 1941 Served with Russian Navy as B2 from 1944-49. Eventually scrapped in May 1950 at Gateshead.
Unison 5th November 1941 Served with Russian Navy as B3 from 1944-49. Eventually scrapped in May 1950 at Stockton.
United 18th December 1941 Scrapped on 12th February 1946 at Troon.
Unrivalled 16th February 1942 Scrapped in January 1946 at Troon.

Uther 6th April 1943 Scrapped in April 1950 at Hayle.
Unswerving 2nd June 1943 Scrapped in July 1949 at Newport.
Vandal 23rd November 1942 Lost on 24th February 1943.
Upstart 24th November 1942 Served with the Hellenic Navy as Xifias from 1945-52. Used as a target and sunk on 29th July 1957.
Varne  22nd January 1943 Served with the Norwegian Navy as Ula in 1943.
Vox 23rd January 1943 Served with the French Navy as Curie from 1943-46. Renamed to P67 in 1946 until eventually scrapped in May 1949 at Milford Haven.

MESSAGES

HMS UNBEATEN.. JOHN STOCKWELL..  My great grandfather, Leading Stoker John Stockwell, served on HMS Unbeaten in WW2. He went down with the submarine when it was sunk on 11th November 1942. I would like to hear from anyone with photographs and information on the crew or sub.

ARTHUR HENSHAW.. My grandfather served on the Urchin from 18th May 1944 to 14th February 1946. I would love to hear from anyone who can give me any information or share any photos of this  time

BILL BLOOD.. My father in law served on HMS Urchin and HMS Ramehead during WW2. is their any surviving members of the crews out there. He would love to hear form them. contact me
