Keith's early work concentrated on magazine illustrations and book covers, and although he still undertakes this work from time to time, the vast majority of his current paintings are now specifically commissioned by service organisations and private clients. Keith is a former Chairman of the Guild of Aviation Artists, he also gives illustration lectures, critiques and workshops.

Jaguars Return to Le Mans by Keith Woodcock.

Return to Le Mans depicts the Group 44, Inc. Jaguar XJR-5 V-12 leading the Le Mans 24 hour race in June 1984. The return of the factory supported Jaguars dominated the headlines leading up to the race. The cars were designed by Lee Dykstra and driven by Bob Tullius, Brian Redman and Doc Bundy in the number 44 car and John Watson, Adam Adamowicz and Ballot Lena in the number 40 car.

To celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the launch of the MGB, this painting depicts Old Faithful on her way to an outright victory in the gruelling 84 hour Marathon De La Route race at the Nurburgring in 1966. The MGB was pitted against powerful opposition including Ferraris and works Lotus Cortinas. The BMC pairing of Andrew Hedges and Julien Vernaeve won the race despite damaging the car very early in the race.

Thundering Elegance portrays Bob Tullius in his Group 44, Inc. V-12 XJS celebrating winning he Copa Mexico Trans Am at the Ricardo Rodriguez Autodrome on the 5th November 1978. This win secured the Constructors Trans Am title, the first constructors title ever won by a factory supported Jaguar. This was added to the Drivers Championship secured by Tullius earlier in the season.

For the 1962 Le Mans 24 hour race, Jaguar prepared an E-Type for Briggs Cunningham. At the track, it transpired that Roy Salvadori was too tall for the Birdcage Maseratis he had planned to drive, he therefore partnered Briggs Cunningham in the E-Type to bring her home in a memorable 4th place overall, 3rd in class and 3rd in the GT category at an average speed of 107.9 mph. The painting depicts the E-Type leading a Ferrari through Tertre Rouge.

In August 1952 at the Montlhery circuit on France a Jaguar XK120 registration LWK707 became the first car ever to average over 100 mph for a week. During this marathon event, three world records and five class records were broken. The team was managed by Desmond Scannell and Mortimer Morris-Goodall. The painting depicts Stirling Moss leaving the pits after a routine tyre change.

E-Type Victory Swansong shows the Group 44, Inc. Jaguar V-12 E-Type, driven by Bob Tullius breaking away from the Corvettes and the Porsches at Road Atlanta on the 2nd November 1975. This striking picture shows Stirling Moss in the Aston Martin DBR1 blasting past the pits on his way to victory in the 1959 Goodwood TT. This win clinched the 1959 World Sportscar Championship for Aston Martin, who became the first British marque to win this title. The Aston Martin team was made up of many of the great drivers of the era, including Stirling Moss, Roy Salvadori, Jack Fairman and Carroll Shelby, Paul Frere and Maurice Trintignant.

In 1935 seven Aston Martin Ulsters were entered in the Le Mans 24hr race. These 1.5 litre cars acquitted themselves superbly, finishing 3rd, 8th, 11th, 12th and 15th overall, won the index of performance, was 1st in the 1500cc class and secured the Rudge-Whitworth Cup for 1935. They finished only seven laps behind the much more powerful 4.5 litre Lagonda and a 2.3 litre supercharged Alfa Romeo. Charles Martin also achieved a new class lap record of 81mph which stood until 1950.
