Royal Navy Seaplane Tenders, HMS Empress, HMS Riviera, Engadine, Campania, Anne, Raven II, Pegasus, Ben My Chree, Vindex, Manxman and Nairana These seaplane  carriers saw service during world war one and were the fore runners of the Aircraft carriers of today.

HMS Albatross 23rd February 1928 Transferred from Australian Navy, commissioned 29th September 1938.  Became a repair ship 1943.  Damaged by torpedo 11th August 1944 and not repaired.  Sold 1946.

My father served aboard the seaplane carrier Engadine when the vessel was in the eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea in 1918. does anyone have any details on her movements during this time until it was decommissioned at the termination of hostilities.
