Class Minesweepers
The Sandown Minesweeper Class. A
less expensive minesweeper to the Hunt Class. classed as a single mine
hunter, they cost 40 million pounds each compared to the Hunt class of
60 million each . All built by Vosper
Thornycroft.
Displacement: 450 tons, and
480 deep load Speed: 13 knots Crew 34 (made of of 7 Officers
and 27 ratings) Armament: 1 30mm gun
