DOCK LANDING SHIPS Consisted of three sister ships all built
at New York Navy yard. USS Raleigh LPD1, USS Vancouver LPD2, and
USS La Salle LPD3 In 1992 USS Raleigh was decommissioned
and in 1994 USS la Salle became 6th Fleet Flagship. and USS Vancouver
continued in service as a Dock landing Ship
