MESSAGES
SMS HERTHA
I
thought to share some information. We have an envelope I wonder if
you could shed some
light upon as follows:
The envelope is marked the "Royal college of Music", with its seal
on
the back of it.
Hand written the following:
German Cruser;
The SMS Hertha
Ribbon
"sunk in the war about 1915. Dolly landed aboard at
Dartmouth 1913
and this was given
her by the captain (Reinhart)
The envelope contains a long black ribbon with the markings
"S.M.S
HERTHA"
I thought to share this item of historic note in hope to find out who
"Dolly" was and
captain
Reinhart. I think Dolly maybe my partners ancestor.
kindest regards
, Richard.
