ERIC HINDLE.. I
am trying to find out more information about my father, Eric Hindle,
(Handsome Hindy). He was a New Zealander who joined the NZ Navy in
1943. He served on the Russian Convoys and spent some time on the
Howe. He was in the Battle of the Scharnhorst. That's all I
know. The New Zealand naval records are very sketchy and give very
little information. Is there anyone out there who remembers him?
Please contact me at erica.hindle@summerset.co.nz
