MESSAGES
CLIFFORD HIBBERT....
Please find
attached photos relating to Acasta that originally belonged to Clifford
Hibbert pictured front row 2nd left and who was lost with the ship. Photos
belong to Glynne Hibbert, nephew of the aforementioned. Gary
Martin
Addition........... In
the collection of photo's taken by my Uncle Clifford Hibbert there are
shown HMS Kelvin, HMS Windsor. Have you any details of their war numbers
and anything else about them. From my photo's these ships and Acasta were
together during January 1940. The photo of the Windsor is after dropping
depth charges, my next photo in Cliffords words on the photo is the end of
a U-boat, the one With Kelvin is searching for survivors, yet the war
office claim NO U-boat was ever sunk in January. I am keen to learn
as much as possible on my uncles ship HMS Acasta.

FREDERICK
WD LEEWORTHY.. this is a message for Glynne Hibbert, I am very
interested in your pictures of HMS Acasta as my Wifes grandfather appears
to have served on this ship, do you know where i may be able to find a
list of the crew, I know he was not a board HMS acasta when she was sunk
as he died on board HMS Cromarty in 1943. Contact
Here
Any help you can give would be welcome regards Mark French
