Trigger (SS237) 22nd October 1941 Sunk by depth charges from Japanese ships and aircraft in the Nansei Shoto Archipelago on 28th March 1945.
Wahoo (SS238) 14th February 1942 Sunk by Japanese aircraft in the La Perouse Strait on 12th October 1943.
Whale (SS239) 14th March1942 Bought and scrapped by Southern Scrap Metals on 29th September 1960.
Angler (SS240) 4th July 1943 Renamed a number of times as follows: SSK240 in 1953, SS240 in 1959, AGSS240 in 1963, IXSS240 in 1971. She was finally stricken on 15th December 1971.
Bashaw (SS241) 25th July 1943 Renamed several times: SSK241 in 1953, SS241 in 1959 lastly as AGSS241 in 1962. She was stricken and used as a target ship on 13th September 1969.
Bluegill (SS242) 8th August 1943 Renamed as SSK242 in 1953, then asSS242 in 1959 and finally AGSS242 in 1962. She was used for training and scuttled on 2nd December 1970.
Bream (SS243) 17th October 1943 Renamed as follows: SSK243 in 1953, SS243 in 1959, AGSS243 in 1965 and finally sunk as a target on 8th November 1969.
Cavalla (SS244) 14th November 1943 Renamed SSK244 in 1953, then as SS244 in 1959 and finally named as AGSS244 in 1963. She was eventually stricken on 30th December 1969.
Cobia (SS245) 28th November 1943 Renamed AGSS245 in 1962 and then stricken on 1st July 1970. Now a memorial boat in Manitowoc, WI.
Croaker (SS246) 19th December 1943 Renamed SSK246 in 1953, then SS246 in 1959, then AGSS246 in 1967, lastly named IXSS246 before being stricken on 20th December 1971. Now a memorial boat in Buffalo, NY.

Scorpion (SS278) 20th July 1942 Presumed mined in the East China Sea sometime in February 1944.

Tunny (SS282) 30th June 1942 Renamed several times: SSG282 in 1951, APSS282 in 1960 and finally renamed LPSS282 in 1969. She was used as a target and sunk off the coast of California on 19th June 1969.
Tinosa (SS283) 7th October 1942 She was stricken in 1959 and used for salvage training eventually sinking off Pearl Harbour in 1961.
Tullibee (SS284) 11th November 1942 In a freak accident she was blown up by her own torpedo off Palau on 26th March 1944.
Balao (SS285) 27th October 1942 Renamed AGSS285 in 1960 and then used as a target ship in 1964.
Billfish (SS286) 12th November 1942 Renamed AGSS286 in 1962 and sold for scrap in January 1971 to Eckhardt GmbH.

Crevalle (SS291) 22nd February 1943 Renamed AGSS291 in 1961 and sold for scrap in January 1971 to Eckhardt GmbH.
Devilfish (SS292) 30th May 1943 Renamed AGSS292 in 1962. She was then sunk as a target on 14th August 1968.
Dragonet (SS293) 18th April 1943 Used as a target ship and sunk in Chesapeake Bay on 17th September 1961.
Escolar (SS294) 18th April 1943 Lost on 17th October 1944 near Kyushu.

Lancetfish (SS296) 15th August 1943 Shortly after her launch, on 15th March 1945, SS296 foundered but was salved days later and eventually sold on 27th August 1959 to Yale Waste Company.
Ling (SS297) 15th August 1943 Renamed AGSS297in 1960 and later in 1971 as IXSS297 before she was stricken on 1st December 1971. Now a memorial boat in Hackensack, NJ.
Lionfish (SS298) 7th November 1943 Renamed AGSS298 in 1960 and then IXSS298 in 1971 before being stricken on 20th December 1971. Now a memorial boat in Fall River, MA.
Manta (SS299) 7th November 1943 Renamed to AGSS299 and used as a target ship off the Virginia Capes on 16th July 1969.
Moray (SS300) 14th May 1944 Renamed AGSS300 in 1962 and was used in June 1970 as a target off the coast of Southern California.
Roncador (SS301) 14th May 1944 Renamed AGSS301 in 1962 and later called IXSS301 in 1971 she was stricken on 1st December 1971.
Sabalo (SS302) 4th June 1944 She was stricken on 1st July 1971.

Unicorn (SS436) 1st August 1946 She was never completed and was eventually scrapped on 27th August 1959.
Walrus (SS437) 20th September 1946 She was never completed and was eventually scrapped on 27th August 1959.
