Displacement:  Alger 4,313 tons, Jean Bart 4044 tons, Isly 4406 tons. Speed: 19.5 knots, Compliment: 387 to 405 crew.  Armament: Four 6.4-inch Guns  later changed to  Quick Firing conversion.  Six 5.5 -inch Guns,  Two 9 pounder  and eight 1 pounder evolvers,  Five 14-inch Torpedo tubes AW.
