Severely damaged by a torpedo and repairs took 2 years.
Broken up for scrap in 1971. |

Torpedoed by U617 and sank on 1st February 1943. |

HMS Welshman. built by hawthorn Leslie and launched 4th September 1940 and
completed 25th August 1941. Served in the Home Fleet 1941 - 1942 and then the
Mediterranean fleet 1943. Torpedoed and sunk by U-617 on the 1st February 1943.
